Australian Model Railway Association Queensland Inc.

The Australian Model Railway Association (AMRA) Queensland Incorporated is an organisation of modellers who are interested in model railways of all scales and gauges, from the smallest to the largest (12″ to the foot). Members come from all over Queensland and some from other Australian States even overseas. The aims and objectives of the Association are to foster interest in the hobby and to assist all those interested.

AMRA has a loosely affiliated Association with Clubs throughout Australia which promotes contact and friendship between members by the activities of its various States.   The AMRA Queensland, also incorporated, is best known for its annual Model Train Show each May at the Brisbane Showgrounds, but at its meetings in Zillmere, it also holds regular meetings with running days (Friday, Saturdays & Tuesday) , layout construction and model repair & maintenance.

Other Clubs are located in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
